My new crush

I love this. Love it, love it, love it. I think I laugh more than the LGBB each morning when it comes on. Timmy’s just so CUTE. Not to mention his little preschool buddies – especially that kitten (“Mee-YEW”).

Mind you….. Steve and I have been known to watch more than one ep of Shaun the Sheep once she’s gone to bed of an evening. Come ON, how could you not giggle at that show?

I’m sorry, I realise I should “get a life” outside of Toddler World. But this is one honest injin show that just fills me to the brim. Possibly a lot to do with the joy and smiles my child gets out of it. Annnd just a little bit self-indulgent for myself as well. It’s just so safe and innocent, yet cheeky and mischievous at the same time.

Have you seen it? (channel 2, 8.15 weekdays)

  1. Love Timmy. Love Shaun. But that's all because I originally loved Wallace. And Gromit, especially Gromit. So much can be said by these cute critters with no words!

But watching when Lol's in bed? You two do need to get out of toddlerdom!!!

  2. Don't have any toddlers any more, but I loved watching Sesame Street and Play School with my kids when they were young. Banana Splits and HR Puff n Stuff was another fav. Then there was The Wombles, the Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock.

Sometimes it is nice to watch something that is just innocent and simple.

I'll keep your secret from LGBB about you and Dad watching when she's asleep.

  3. Yeah big fans of both here. :) Ethan was just doing a little dance while I played that clip hehe. BUT i can't say I watch it of an evening LOL Whatever floats your boat though :P

  4. 'ay, orright, orright… bit of clarification (for the record and all):

It was Season 4 *happy claps* and we wanted to see the New And Improved Farmer and Bitzer (the dog, of course). And ended up watching, er, slightly more than one…. make that, 3. Not a regular thing or anything!

Kakka: Ah, now you're talking – Fraggle Rock, The Muppets (in fact, any of Jim Henson's early stuff), The Wombles!! All get ticks in my book :) I must be of a similar vintage to your kidlets, no?

  5. I haven't seen it, but I will take your word for it!

  6. A big fave in our house too!

  7. Rob loves Shaun the Sheep, it used to be on after Hi 5 on Foxtel, but the kids dont like it cos there is no singing or dancing!

  8. HUGE hit in ours too, and the man-child takes secret delight every monday afternoon in watching with the children when he picks them up from school!

  9. methinks she doth protest too much…

  10. My 2 are glued when it's on! Fantastic show :)
